Multi-World Champion Mare

A daughter of the immortal GG Cleopatra – Rose is THE ONLY mare in the history of the breed to win World GRAND Champion Open Single Pleasure Driving horse, and is also the 1999 World High Point Driving Horse of the year and World or Reserve Champion in many, many other divisions. Rose suffered an accident in the fall of 2004 where she dislocated her hip and needed to undergo surgery to remove 2" of femur and the ball of her left leg. She is on the mend and we hope that she will be able to reproduce in the future, but if not she has given us two beautiful fillies to add to our broodmare band: Mountain Meadows Monarch’s Countess and Mountain Meadows Summer Sonata. In 2006 we will be breeding Rose to Century Farms Bey Masquerade (2004 World GRAND Champion Open Single Pleasure Driving Horse) and hope that the weight of the pregnancy will not be too difficult for her – this will be the first time in the history of the breed that 2 World GRAND Champion Open driving horses have been bred and with the genetic prepotency of both of these bloodlines the foal should be outstanding.

Bunyan foals are reknown for their elegance with long, slender necks, beautiful chiseled heads, high tail-sets and unbelievable movement. Image is a classic example of the beauty of this bloodline and everyone that sees her comments on her elegance. Image is the dam of National Champion, Mountain Meadows Sovereign and the grandddam of Mountain Meadows Noble Cause. We have retained several of her daughters for our breeding program.

This "one in a million" mare is not only a National Champion Open Driving Horse in her own right, but she is also the dam to 3 National GRAND Champion Open Single Pleasure Driving and Open Halter horses: Mountain Meadows Playboy, Mountain Meadows American Express and Mountain Meadows Summer Rose, and the granddam of several more National Champions. We have retained almost all of Cleo’s daughters and her National GRAND Champion grandson, Mountain Meadows Special Express, for use in our breeding program. At age 24 she is still full of life and is as sassy as a 5 year old with hardly a grey hair on her to give away her age.

The daughter of our National Grand Champion, Summer Rose, and sired the the Scott Creek Farm’s "premier sire" Sierra Dawn Unos Monarch, Countess is a stunning example of what is possible in a miniature horse can be. With her beautiful head and long, clean, archy neck, short back, trim barrel and long fine legs she is always one of the first that visitors point to and ask "Who is that!" Not surprising she has her mother’s fancy movement and sassy attitude. 10/07 Countess passed away, we will greatly miss her.

Tymeless Image, aka "Dusty" is another one of the farm favorites – not surprising given her dam is our beautiful Paul Bunyan daughter, Image, and her sire is our elegant stallion Celebrations Tennessee Tyme. Once again Tymer has stamped "his look" on this beautiful mare with the trademark chiseled head with huge eyes, long & clean neck, extremely refined legs, and trim barrel – and of course, that unmistakable floating trot! Dusty is the dam of the 2004 Res. National Champion, Noble Cause(sired by Prince) who is now taking the Texas show circuit by storm with win after win.

Mia is being bred for 2010 to our stunning tovero pinto Mountain Meadows Steppin Out who is sired by Aloha Henry #43 (now in Australia) and out of the lovely LaVista Adar Lynn. This foal will be drop dead stunning and have a pedigree full of World champions. If we did not have a couple of Mia’s daughters, we would never let this special mare go.
